Are classes suitable for beginners
Yes. You can always take a break if you need one. Adaptations can be made if required (only in live classes)
Can I try a class for free?
If you haven't atended any of my classes then you can try one for free if you contact me in advance.
N.B. I am often out very early in the morning - some classes are in the evening and I don't get home beforehand, so whether its a yoga mat or kettlebell etc that you may need to borrow then the more advance notice you can give me that you'd like to try a session, the better!
I purchased a class pass - how does it work?
Let's say you purchased a 12 class pass for yoga.
It will be valid for 14 weeks or until passes or used - whichever comes first. (8 class pass valid for 10 weeks, 4 class pass valid for 6 weeks).
You can choose to book either/or/mix and match in-person classes or online classes.
You can book a friend on (or up to three friends for any one class), but each person attending will be using another pass.
Examples of how a 12 class pass may be used.
SImple maths - needs to add up to 12 with the max attendance you can use to any one class being you + 3 friends.
1. You attend 12 sessions (in person or online)
2. You and a friend attend 6 sessions together.
3. Your attend 3 sessions, then book yourself and three friends onto one online class, yourself and one friend onto one in-person class, then you use the remaining three passes for yourself.
Can I mix in-person and online classes?
Yes.
If you are booking a single class then you choose.
If you block book classes then they are by type, so a 4 class pass for YOGA can be used for any of the yoga classes in person or online. A 4 class pass for Kettlebells/HIIT/CARD1O can be used for those class types - mixing online or in-person.
Block bookings can't be used across different types of class - so a Yoga pass can't be used towards a HIIT class.
How much does a class cost?
Classes are currently broken down into two types.
Yoga (60 minutes)
Everything else (50 minutes)*
For each there is a standard price, referred to as the drop-in price. For yoga that's £12.50, for Kettlebells etc that is £10.
If you block book classes, then there are discounts available - you can book 4, 8 or 12 classes saving 20%, 25% and 30% respectively
If you do block book think if it as having purchased a book of tickets, referred to as passes, and one will be deducted each you book onto a class. You can choose to use these passes for the classes in Northallerton or the only equivalents.
Do I need to provide equipment?
You would always be recommended to wear appropriate footwear - or barefoot/socks for yoga classes.
Ideally use an exercise mat and have a small towel to wipe away any sweat and a bootle of water for hydration.
If further equipment is required, such as kettlebells then if you attend one of my in-person classes I can provide the necessary equipment, if you are at home then you would need to provide your own kettlebell/weights - but get in touch and I'll be happy to advise you BEFORE you rush and a buy something that may not be appropriate.
